UMR empowers teams to secure essential grant funding and explore innovative fundraising channels to support global relief and development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic marketing and fundraising plan to secure grant funding from government agencies, private foundations, and international donors
• Analyze program data and funding opportunities, preparing persuasive proposals and reports aligned with donor interests
• Build and sustain partnerships with NGOs, community organizations, and stakeholders to increase support and collaboration
• Innovate new fundraising avenues, including digital campaigns, crowdfunding, and targeted social media strategies
• Collaborate with program teams to gather outcomes and impact data for fundraising efforts
• Represent UMR at events and workshops, networking with potential donors and partners to expand support
• Monitor fundraising performance and adapt strategies to exceed funding goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in fundraising/grant writing or marketing, ideally within nonprofit or NGO settings
• Strong understanding of the nonprofit sector and background in international development projects
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with expertise in creating compelling proposals and presentations
• Analytical skills to assess program data and inform funding strategies
• Highly organized, able to efficiently manage concurrent projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective internal and external collaboration
